01What is an indenting agent?
An indenting agent connects a buyer with a producer and coordinates the order between them. The buyer places an indent (order) with the producer, pays the producer directly, and the producer ships direct. The agent sources the offer, negotiates, checks documents and follows up until delivery.
02Do I pay Chelora PetroChem for the material?
No. In an indent you pay the producer directly, by LC or the agreed payment terms. If you prefer to buy from us instead, we can quote for direct supply from our network.
03Who pays the agent?
In a typical indent the agent's commission is settled with the producer. We confirm the arrangement for each deal with you before you commit, so there are no surprises.
04What volumes suit an indent?
Indents work best for larger and regular requirements, such as full container loads, ISO tanks or bulk parcels. For smaller or urgent lots, direct supply from us is usually quicker.
05Which documents come with the shipment?
The producer ships with the Certificate of Analysis, Safety Data Sheet and the shipping documents for the consignment, such as the commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading. We check them for you.
